Welcome to this week's installment of Armchair Adventures.
It's hot, hot, hot at the moment, so it seems apt that this week we are heading to the scorching deserts of Jordan. The Jordan Trail is a long distance footpath traversing the length of Jordan from the Syrian border in the north to the Red Sea in the South.
In today's film, we join Cal Major again (see Episode 2's 'post-adventure blues' blog) and head into the desert on an all-female expedition to walk 200km of the Jordan Trail. Cal is joined by Everest summitter Molly Hughes, and Bex Band, founder of Love Her Wild.
Epic landscapes, epic adventure and epic blisters. What more could you want from an expedition? Well, perhaps the awesome wonders of Petra, starry desert skies, remote campfires, the legendary hospitality of the Bedouin and friendships forged in adversity.
I hope you enjoy.
