Welcome!
We hope you are well? Adventures, near and far, seem a long way off at the moment, so we've been hatching a plan to bring a little adventure to your inbox on a regular basis.
Over the next few weeks and months, we'll be bringing you a diverse selection of some of the most inspiring and thought provoking adventure films and other media. Some will be short, some long. We'll cover epic journeys and crazy expeditions from around the world, as well as short and sweet micro-adventures from within our own shores.
We'll be chewing over our favourite recipes from around the world, looking at amazing cultures, wildlife, conservation challenges and more. If you have a favourite film, book or blog you think our fellow readers would enjoy, then do please get in touch, we'd love to hear from you.
And so, without further ado, we kick off with...
The Imaginary Line
“At the end of this, we could be walking away in handcuffs.”
At a time when international borders are closed, and the need for humanity working together has never been greater, we start our series of Armchair Adventures with a short film about crossing borders and breaking down barriers. It’s a story about friendship, forged across imaginary lines.
Oh, and it’s also about “high-lining” or "slack-lining" - in this case, connecting two countries with a rope, in the middle of the wilderness.
It's 10 minutes 30 seconds well spent. We hope you enjoy.
