Calling all Adventurers! We have teamed up with Wilderness Medical Training to bring their ‘Far From Help’ course to Exeter http://wildernessmedicaltraining.co.uk/explorer-series-far-from-help.
Don’t miss out on this fantastic opportunity to gain confidence in your ability to provide care in a remote environment to anyone who is injured and ill. The course is not a first aid course, the training goes beyond this, covering injuries, illnesses and the use of prescription medication. Without the need for prior medical knowledge, over an intensive weekend, you will achieve a thorough grounding in how to deal with the most common problems experienced on expeditions.
The ‘Far From Help’ (FFH) 2-day course is run by Wilderness Medical Training (WMT) the lead medical training company for explorers. The instructors are all clinicians with many years’ experience.
The FFH has been attended by more than 1000 teachers, leaders, travellers and explorers. The course offers a good professional development opportunity for teachers wanting to run their own expeditions and adventures.
Places are limited, so book now and we look forward to you joining us at the STC in Exeter on 24 & 25 September 2011.
