The locals call the route Laugavegurinn meaning "The Hot Spring Route", aptly named as you pass many of these wonderful pools along the way. You also have two nights in the bustling and bright town of Reykjavik, and we recommend you extend your holiday by a day to visit Geysir, Gullfoss and Thingvellir and stop off at the Blue Lagoon on your way to the airport to complete an unforgettable holiday in Iceland.
