About the Sinai Desert:

The Sinai Desert, often voted as the most beautiful in the world, is the perfect location for a short school expedition. Stunning scenery, great trekking, biblical history, Bedouin cultures and some of the best sunsets to be found anywhere on earth, make the Sinai a firm favourite with our school clients.

This expedition is just great for schools and a true desert adventure in every sense of the word, so you should be prepared for some basic conditions whilst camping. The experience of sleeping out under the stars in spectacular locations, and the ambiance of camp life will more than compensate for the simple, limited facilities.

The feedback from previous schools we've had travel to this region has been nothing short of fantastic, and with flight-inclusive expedition prices starting at around £950 for a group of 16 students and 2 free teachers, it's great value too.

Terms and Conditions

• A winner will be drawn at random from the correct Pages. The prize on offer is an eight-day Bedouin Trails tour for one person, worth up to £820 (Explore tour ref BT)
• The prize is subject to availability and must be taken on one of the following dates: Sat 11 Feb - Sat 18 Feb 2012 / Sat 07 Apr - Sat 14 Apr 2012
• Trip inclusions: return flights from London, ground transfers, accommodation, most meals, the services of an experience tour leader, local guides, drivers and other support staff as necessary as detailed in the trip itinerary.
• The prize is not transferable, amendable or redeemable for cash.
• The total prize value includes the basic tour price as published on the Explore website (www.explore.co.uk) at time of booking.
• The prize value will not include costs of visas, optional extras, inoculations or insurance (NB: travel insurance is mandatory on all Explore tours)
• This offer cannot be used in conjunction with any other promotional offer.
• If the prize tour (meaning the full run of tour departures within the offer period) is cancelled for any reason by Explore, the winner can transfer to a new available tour of a comparative value, but a cash alternative will not be offered.
• If the chosen and booked departure date is cancelled by Explore then the winner can transfer free of charge to a new date. However, if the original booking is cancelled by the winner, any transfer will be solely at Explore's discretion.
• The winner can extend their tour prize or combine it with another tour, when they pay any extra or additional costs.
• Additional travellers can be booked on the trip through The Specialist Travel Consultancy, subject to availability and at the published rate. Explore's standard booking procedures apply.
• Age restrictions apply. The minimum age for this trip is 14. Under 18s must be accompanied by an adult. Maximum age for all tours is 79, unless travelling with a companion under the maximum age.
