On Saturday 25th September we hosted our first family adventure talk of the season. The subject was winter activity holidays and northern lights and the 40 minute long illustrated talk covered how to plan and arrange activities such as dog-sledding, snow shoeing, snow-mobiling and ice fishing with your family.
Adrian Ferraro, director at the STC, also covered how to give yourself the best possible chance of seeing the mysterious northern lights. The talk took place at the popular Darts Farm Shopping centre in association with Exeter's Travel Health Consultancy and Cotswold Outdoor.
Desert Adventures
The next talk is on Saturday 16th October at 4pm and will cover Family Adventure holidays in North Africa and Arabia, covering destinations such as Morocco, Egypt and Jordan, amongst others.
