Born and bred in Denmark, Annika’s travel adventure started when, aged 18, she boarded a plane for the first time to come to the UK as an au pair. Apart from a three-year stint to do her degree in ‘Wonderful Copenhagen’ (the happy capital city of the world’s happiest country, full of very happy Danes), she’s been here ever since! At 16, her big dream was to go Inter-railing and she ticked that box after au pairing. Morocco was a bit of a culture shock, but it didn’t put her off and she’s since travelled to Guatemala (which should have been a trip to the Philippines…but that’s another story!), Peru, Ecuador, Bolivia, Chile, Argentina, Botswana, Malawi, Thailand and numerous countries within Europe. Having worked as an administrator in a school for 6 years, she understands the parameters all our lovely teachers work within. She’s joined the team to help make the admin of school trips as painless and stress-free as possible!
