Undertaking a community or conservation project as part of the trip is an ideal way to satisfy the Service element of CAS, and it is often the project section of a trip that is the most impacting and fulfilling. Projects can vary widely in remit and can last from a day to a week or more, either as the main element of the trip, or as part of an extended overseas school expedition.
